Home Plants and Crystals That Bring Good Energy And Heal.
According to Feng Shui everything has energy. Clutter and broken items, unworn clothes or unused objects block positive energy circulation. So Feng Shui recommends throwing away and donating the items we do not use to free up space for the objects that are practical, useful and make us happy. A minimalist home with clean lines and no clutter is a Feng Shui happy one!
One of the Feng Shui items is a mirror placed in a happy and comfortable place, where everyone gathers, to reflect positive vibes and to attract even more. For instance a mirror on a fireplace by a sitting area where people gather.
My first choice was a Ficus Lyrata otherwise known as the "fiddle-leaf fig". It is the original designer plant. According to Feng Shui this tree teaches patience, kindness and love for something outside of yourself. Care is easy just keeping the soil moist at all times and placing it in bright filtered light. This tree will grow and will need repotting once or twice a year as it grows. My Fiddle leaf fig is grown now and I repotted it once to a bigger planter so it grows into a bigger tree! It elevates our living room and adds a splash of green color so beautifully!

My second choice was Silver Satin Pothos because it looks so beautiful and lush. It is also called Peace lily. An easy guess from the name, this plant improves the flow of positive energy with its ability to neutralize harmful indoor gases. These elegant plants flourish best in dark environments where there is minimal light. This plant is very easy to take care of and grows very fast!

Another gorgeous designer house plant is Peperomia Obtusfolia, with its thick dark green spoon shaped leaves, the Peperomia or sometimes called baby rubber plant is easy to care for. Let the soil dry out between watering and place in indirect sunlight. Another good choice for beginners. According to Feng Shui it brings good luck to a home.

According to SpellCraft,Amethyst is an absolute must for any home. It's an energy clearing all star! And Feng Shui suggests that Amethyst clears our homes from negative emotions, mind clutter and negative thoughts. It brings positivity and clarity to one's mind and helps with attention, learning and studying.

I love plants and crystals, the gifts of nature that give us joy, wisdom and heal us! Many artists combine the two in whimsical looking geode air plants.

I learned a lot about energies from Nelya, who comes from a family line of Mystics and knows a lot about metaphysically based spiritual pursuits. She recommends having a small table as an altar at home, with powerful crystals, positive symbols or pictures and different incenses to clear out negative energies and to bring positivity, light and healing into one's house.
Healing Altar by Nelya
A home altar is a place with objects that help us connect to the sacred and our spirituality. It is great for creating a positive mood in one's home. Altars are usually created on a small flat surface as a round or rectangular table or a tray.
An altar is a place for sacred items that are special for you. For instance an item from a person who passed away and was dear to you or something that reminds you of good times in the past. Natural pieces that represent five elements of nature can be placed on an altar. For instance: a feather for air, a glass of water with a flower to represent water and earth and a candle for the fire element. A spirit element is the fifth one and it exists in all of the four elements of air, water, earth and fire.
May your home be peaceful and joyous and all items in it bring good intentions, positive energy, love and healing! Let's fill our homes with anything that helps us feel healthy, energetic, relaxed, creative, motivated and curious. Let nature guide us and bring out our beauty within. Let the sacred inside and outside us navigate us in hard times. And may the kindness we spread around make the world a better place!
